Journeys 182/183 - Cat's Tumor/Wife's Knee revisited

4/2/05: A Journey to investigate a stomach growth in my Niece’s Cat . After the usual preparation, I set up a 10-minute Drumming Loop and off I went. I found myself in a field of short and beautiful Flowers, some white, some other colors. Owl swooped in and landed on my left shoulder. The entire Earth surface then contracted into a small sphere upon which we stood. The sphere then took on the appearance of a cat’s eye, with Owl and I standing in the black pupil. We then sank down through it. We then went through the cat’s body, and soon came to where the mass in his tummy is. We looked at it. It was bloody red and bubbly, and seemingly alive with sparks. It was apparently cancerous. Owl and I decided to move into the mass and check it our further. Within we found a small, dark and amorphous Imprint darting around from here to there at great speed. It would be had to catch this one without restricting its running area. So I left the mass and sprinkled Salt all around it, to keep the Imprint isolated within the mass. I then went back into the mass and began to isolate its running area within. Once we had the Imprint “cornered”, it slowed down enough for us to realize it was a Baby Suld soul, a small Soul form a very young Human that had passed prematurely. It was obviously confused and had entered the Cat without knowing what it was doing. It was in need of guidance and companionship. I walked it out of the Cat and my Sister’s dwelling, and we began to speak. I told it how it could not live within another Being, for it was causing grave harm to it. The Soul asked me where it could live. I took it to some mature Suld souls who had become Helper Nature Spirits. But the little Baby did not want to live with strangers. It then made known its wish to stay with me. I told it I was a relatively new Shaman, and really didn’t know how to deal with a young Suld soul like it. So I suggested we go over and visit with the Grandfather Shaman Spirit I recently acquired. When we got there, I explained the problem to Grandfather. He told me that in an area we call Northern Quebec, there was a Spirit Playground devoted to young Baby Sulds like my little friend. He said that after a time, the Baby Suld would merge with 6 or 7 other Baby Souls and become a grown Nature Spirit. In this case, this Nature Spirit wil eventually come back to me and be my Helper. So we then went onto the surface of my Toli, the Shaman Mirror. It became the landscape from here to N Quebec, and we all flew along it very rapidly. We got to the Spirit playground, which was vibrant with reds, oranges and yellows, the colors of the lower Chakras involved with emotions, survival and individuation. Utawa, my Mirror Guide, was now also beside me. We watched as the Baby Suld Soul excitedly and happily ran into the area to be with others like itself. It looked at me and waved goodbye, saying it would see me again when it had matured into a full-grown Nature Spirit. We all then went back to the mass in the Cat. I tried attacking it with my Lightning-Struck Wand. It seemed to break into pieces, but it coalesced into a mass once again just as the Call Back Drum sounded. The issue was left unresolved. So, I took the Drum Loop and began it again, to finish off the task. We got back to the mass. It was now benign, having lost the dark Imprint Energy that was feeding its cancerous nature. I took out my Mirror and began to burn it with intense light from the Mirror. I watched as the solid mass turned into a more fleshy pulp..one that could be eliminated in time by the cat’s natural dissolving processes. I then focused on the Drumming, and found myself dancing around a Fire with other people sitting in attendance. They were clapping with the Drumming as I danced around as their Shaman. Utawa then merged with me, and I felt electricity run through my body. We both shape-shifted into a Hawk. We shot way up into Space, circling around, and then dove at instantaneous speed into the Fire itself. We soon emerged from the Flames unburned. The attendees watched in amazement at this sight. I believe this was my first Shamanic “miracle” before other people. I then sounded the Call Back and returned, thanking all my Helpers. I’m sure the news on the Cat will be positive tomorrow.

My 2nd Journey was to see what might be wrong with my wife’s knee, still aching after the ski incident a few weeks ago. I was able to move inside her knee, and took a close look at the ligament giving her trouble. I saw that the top portion had been spread thin a bit, as if unraveling a tightly bound stack of grass. There was also a very slight separation from the bone at the very top..nothing that needs surgery. My Meteorite Guide, Holds his Hands Out, came along and suggested I take my Meteorite and hold it toward the Knee. I did so ,and we found the ligament filling with and being surrounded by healing light. Then, my wife’s Hummingbird Power Animal came along and as opposed to extracting nectar with its long beak, it was placing nectar within the damaged areas. It was very busy, and would remain there until the knee healed. At the end of the Journey, I saw that a fabric knee brace is required to keep her from placing too much strain on the knee during the day. There was also a suggestion of placing a heating liniment on the area before placing the brace. Bottom line: corrective surgery was not indicated. Since this Journey, my wife has bought the brace and says there is no twinge activity going on anymore.
