Journeys 144/145 - Ice Council/Shaman's Mirror Visit

1/5/05: This first Journey was to revisit the Council I met on top of Ice Mountain a few Journeys back. I felt they were a key part of my Shamanic Past, as I had once been a Shaman in an Ice Age of some sort. I prepared in the usual way, and soon found Owl ready to fly with me. We were suddenly sitting on a quite thin branch way up in a very majestic Tree. It was a very long fall from where we were, and the branches were easily 20 feet apart vertically. One had a very keen sense that the slightest slip would result in a fall to death..and yet I hadn’t the slightest fear. I felt I might be sitting in the Tree of Life itself. Suddenly Owl began to pick at my Aura. I had had a very rough prior of impatience and anger in trying to deal with a broken attic access stairway, and Owl was busy picking away all the dark Energies I had picked up during my fit. It was as if he found me unfit to meet with the Council in the State I was in. He was cleaning me up! Suddenly, the Tree began to spin. It spun very fast, and we rose up through the top of the vortex, right into Space. After a short hovering, we flew down toward a green land mass. Sticking up in one portion thereof was the Ice Mountain! We landed there, and I took my position with the Council. We began to Smoke a Prayer, and suddenly a Shaman Spirit appeared standing atop a small rock ridge nearby. He was all blue! I was told this is the Shaman Spirit of the Mongolian Shaman’s Mirror I had just purchased. I then fell into a deeper concentration, but as I came back into awareness, I saw the Blue Shaman send a small blue Orb down to rest on my chest. It was a Spirit Replica of the Mirror! The Journey ended here, and I felt quite empowered knowing I know had this very useful tool on my person permanently.

My 2nd Journey was to visit the Mirror (made of brass and about 11.5 CM in diameter) itself, to find out what it might be about. Who is the Blue Shaman, what has the Mirror been used for, etc. As I fell into the Shamanic trance, I found myself in Mongolia. As I sat in an open field, my Guides Owl, Eagle and Hawk were all fluttering before me, almost as if one bird with 6 wings. They then came and sat with me on a stone wall. I saw with my legs hanging down..we weren’t really that high. Suddenly I saw a Smelter bowling the metal that was used to make my Mirror. The Cauldron was hung from a pole with an “S” shaped hook, reminiscent of my Shamanic symbol. We watched as the Smelter danced around the Cauldron, murmuring prayers and “hurais.” Suddenly I saw the Blue Shaman Spirit approaching, and enter the metal. Surrounding his presence in the middle of the molten metal was a replica of the entire Universe..a small orb containing every Star, Galaxy, etc. It was the most beautiful orb I have ever seen, and it was in 3-D, so it was quite readable. The Spirit then spoke and gave me his name: Tenger (for lack of a better word, Grandfather) Utawa (oo-tah-wuh, accent on the first syllable). He said he was the Sprit of the Blue light found inside the vortex of the center of each person’s spiritual existence, known in Mongolia as the Gol. He was the blue light of the Sky..and that led me to remember that when in my 20s I used to stare at the blue skies of the fading day for hours on end. Perhaps that was an early calling. He told me we would merge later, but that I was still to use Eagle Claw and Crosses as my main Journey Guides. He told me I have very important Shamanic Work yet to accomplish, and that the World needs me to be there as Shaman. I then got to witness some of the history of the Mirror itself. I saw it on the chest of a Shaman at night amidst fires and shacks, and the Shaman was under serious attack from the Dark Beings..he was using the Mirror as a shield with all his Spirit might. I also saw a different Shaman using the Mirror in a Ritual attended by many, holding the Mirror high by its Silk Loop. I also saw it sitting in a box in NY City in the early-mid 20th century, but eventually being sent back to Mongolia. We then were back at the Smelting. Utawa told me he was “cold” and asked me to blow into the Fire to enhance it. We did so, and the Fire sprung up instantly and burned much higher. Even though the Smelter could not see us, he knew we were there, and found the sudden explosion of Fire a sure sign of a Spiritual Blessing on the Mirror. He was ecstatic. I again went deeper from here and brought nothing back, but as the Journey ended, I found myself back inside the Blue Vortex Gol, but this time with a companion. A Yellow/Green ball covered in tiny hairs, and I was told this was the Seed of Life. A very starting and cool ending, to know this Seed is with me at my Center.
