Journey 129 - Help for the Puppy

11/19/04: A third Journey to investigate why our Shih Tzu dog has been so scared lately. There has been a downward spiral over the past months, and I learned recently that one can also take Journeys for Animals. With Sacred Space still open, I re-lit the Sacred Candle and self-drummed this one. I soon found myself outside with Snake, my Lower World Guide. She led me to a Dog Kennel, with many dogs within the pen. Just outside the fence was an opening, through which we sank. We passed along a Tunnel made of golden Mud. When we emerged from the exit, we were hovering over yet another Waterfall. This time, though, we were suspended in mid Air. Suddenly, we fell like Stones, and would have smashed on the Rocks below except for my decision to prevent it as we got close. I knew right away that our dog’s problem was an inordinate fear of falling. We were then standing just to the side of the boulders. Across the River formed by the Waterfall outflow, on the bank, was a smaller version of our dog..a puppy. We crossed over and I spoke to him. I told him I knew he was a little Soul Piece that had left our dog when he was young. I asked him if he wanted to come back to our older dog. He said no, that he really liked it where he was, and went on sniffing the lush bank. I then fell down and prostrated myself as the small dog grew to the size and shape of a man. I told him I was sorry for having no doubt placed that Fear in him when he was younger..I used to stand him occasionally on the narrow deck railing while I looked out into the night. I now find it so hard to believe, as I look back those 5 years, that I could be so inconsiderate, but this was a year or so before I turned back onto the True Path. The larger Spirit Form reconsidered, and went back to the size of the small dog. I then picked him up and placed within my Solar Plexus Chakra, and Snake and I returned through the Tunnel to this World. Shortly afterward, I blew the little Soul Piece back into my dog through his head and tummy. Now that he is whole again, we can certainly expect him to be less timid.
