7/10/2003: It also occurred to me today, having read quite a bit about journeying in the past few days, that I actually already have performed at least one journey. This was when listening to the last song on Sacred Spirit 1, and I found myself lying in a field at twilight with Two Feathers whispering in my ear, “I will always be with you..I will always be with you..” I saw this as my “death” in the Spirit World on my way here.
This afternoon I performed my shamanic preparatory breathing and then took a small nap with the blue oval stone I found several years ago nestled in my hands over my navel. This is an effective way to talk with a Stone Person. The first time, I got some broken images of a corrugated wing or flap that we were holding up to investigate, but I remember nothing else. The second trip, so to speak, resulted in no images I can remember, but a most remarkable ending. My hands holding the rock were slammed onto the bed by my side, as if the Stone Person was saying, that’s it! End of talk. Right after that, I sensed myself to be inside a blue covering, and felt very still and lifeless, like I was the Stone itself. I believe I did obtain the consciousness of the Stone Person in that moment, and I felt very relaxed and stationary! Quite a lovely feeling.
