Journeys 163 and 164: Two for my Wife's Friend/Coworker

3/8/05: Two for my wife’s friend, who has recently developed a cloudiness over one of her eyes:

Journey 1: After the usual preparations, I began the Drum CD loop and immediately saw my Shaman’s Mirror on my chest glowing with a soft blue Light that outlined its contours. This told me that the Blue Shaman was powerful and ready to assist/protect. I then found myself in a very dark Forest. The Trees had no color whatsoever..just black outlines against a barely visible Sky. I was sitting by a Fire, with Black Panther, my totem of the West, lying beside me. I was stroking Panther’s head, rubbing the fur thereupon. Then, in the nearly black Sky, I spotted Owl moving across from my right. He was flying in loops, crisscrosses, ascents and dives..all the while leaving a trail of Rainbow specks. Owl then flew really high and began circling around, building a Tunnel to the upper World. Once the base of the Tunnel had reached the ground, I and Owl went up. As we emerged from the exit at the top, I found myself back in a Room I had visited before in a prior Journey. Owl flew and put the Room Lights on. There before me was a huge Mountain made of, or at least covered in, innumerable Stones of many sizes, shapes and colors. At the top I could see a Pink Swan floating patiently. I knew I had to get to the top, and began climbing. Soon the exertion was too much, so I shape-shifted myself into a Hawk and flew the rest of the way. Once at the top, I landed and stood right beside Pink Swan. As we looked into the surface of the Pond Swan was floating on, we could see our Human form reflections, even though the two of us were in Bird form. We then began to discuss the friend’s problem. I was told to examine the friend’s Aura and did so. I could see a direct looping link running from her emotions Chakra straight up into one of her eyes..the left one, as I recall. I was then informed that an overage of Fear was leaking from her Chakra into her Eye. I was told this connection must be broken in order for her Eye to begin healing. I was then told to make a small Ongon, or a Spirit Housing, to give to her. Just then, Wolf appeared, volunteering to be her Power Animal. I was to place this Spirit within the Ongon so whenever the friend held it she would feel the peace and serenity of the Spirit World. I was told to put a picture of her smiling on one side of the Ongon’s head, and a picture of Wolf on the reverse. She would then know her Wolf Helper was right there with her, and that there was no need to fear anything.,she could dash the Fear at any time by holding and contemplating the Ongon. Wolf then began to apply a wet rag soaked with water to her Eye, followed by a glowing Coal. The Ongon should have a red cloth covering. I was then told to tell the friend to begin taking Bilberry and Lutein, or supplements that contain these vision-helping elements, and extra vitamin C, well–known for its importance to the Eye’s health. At this point the Call Back sounded and down I flew to the Room, I shape-shifted back to human form, and Owl and I then flew down the Tunnel into the Dark Woods. He then left me a Feather, a Spiritual Gift. He then dusted Black Panther and I with Rainbow Dust.

Notes: The very dark forest at the beginning and end seems to have implied a problem with vision, with seeing, and so I knew I was in the right place for getting Guidance. Black Panther represents very powerful Spiritual abilities, including that of shape-shifting.

The fact Pink Swan and I could see our other selves in the pond’s reflection indicates a need for the friend to look within and find the true Self. It’s OK to appear as others want her to be, as long as she knows her true Self is safe within.

There are many attributes a Wolf Power Animal brings: self-confidence, knowing your place in the pack, using body and verbal language effectively, learning to balance authority and democracy, learning not to be wasteful, excellent hearing and smelling ability, and learning to trust one’s own instincts.

Applying hot and cold compresses directly to the Eye appears to be necessary to help clear it up and break the flow of Fear into it.

The color Red in the Ongon implies stimulation. Red stimulates the body, increases passion, will and energy. It warms and activates. It can raise body temperature and energize the blood. Too much Red, however, can lead to high blood pressure and aggravate conditions. Hence, when using the Ongon, the friend should try to alleviate as much surrounding red color as possible.

Journey 2 was to check into the friend’s near Future, also undertaken at her request. Her finances are troubling to her, and no doubt a major cause of the Fear seen in the above Journey. Sacred Space was still open, so I dove right into the Drum loop. I saw Pink Swan floating atop the Blue Shaman Lake, the watery appearance my Mirror takes ion from time to time in Journeys. Owl was nearby, and told me to go with Pink Swan. We floated off together across the Lake, and soon came to a very thick Mist. We moved inside, and within seconds I could see Stars forming in the distance. As we emerged totally from the Mist, we were out in Space. All the Stars were falling slowly making the shape of a huge funnel. It was an immense Energy sink hole. Perhaps a Black Hole lay at the bottom. The two of us went into this Funnel and quickly sank. When we landed, I saw Pink Swan standing next to an exit sign for a certain nearby city. He then let my attention wander to a map, and most of the energy seemed to be focused in the NW corner of the city, toward another town. I saw a connecting route flash quickly by in my mind. I then saw a small, 2-story apartment building, with perhaps 4 units, that has been built along a large rock ledge. Trees growing out of the top of the ledge hovered over the building. Its colors were beige and brown. A number and name flashed by: “98” and “Rollingsford’. I then saw the apartment building go quickly through an entire cycle of winter, spring and summer. It was now fall, and the friend had been living in this building for a while. Several men came and went quickly in her Life, one black, one white. I was shown that sub-letting a small apartment to generate income might also be an option for the friend. The following spring I saw a good friendship begin between her and a male who lives in one of the adjoining apartments, or who took the sublet if that option presents itself. This male would be a comforting and supporting presence..a true friend. Pink Swan and I then were then lifted back up through the Star Funnel. We went through the Mist back onto the Shaman Mirror Lake. There, all my Other major Guides were awaiting us. We all hugged, and as we did so the Call Back Drum began. I thanked them all and came back to the room.

Notes: The address apparently given, 98 Rollingsford, does not exist in those towns. In fact, the name Rollingsford is not in the dictionary. So perhaps the name is meant to be split..Rollings and/or Ford. Or perhaps Rawlings. Often these messages come as metaphors..one must be alert to alternate spellings.

The time frame of all this appears to be a little over a year from the beginning. It seems to begin in the late fall of one year and carries through to the spring beyond the following spring.

The fact all this took place on a Lake and among a Mist indicates Water is the primary element of this Journey. Water signifies the Emotions and Feminine Power. This means the friend will have to call on lots of courage and inner strength to make this scenario work for her. This is where Wolf as a Power Animal can be very helpful. They can roam for miles without tiring, and have a well-defined sense of place.

The Black Hole and cascading Stars seem to imply that Fear is draining part of her Energy to act and Live properly, but that if she just embraces the Fear (falls into it, so to speak) she will emerge at the bottom with her new Life.
