Journey 149 - PA for My Son's Good Friend

1/21/05: My second Journey of the day was for my son’s good friend. The room was still under Sacred Space, so I went right to it. I found myself almost immediately on the shore of a Lake, down a bit from some Cabins. My Lower World Guide Snake (Crosses in Front) appeared almost immediately, and we were off into the woods in a playful romp sort of way. We came to a large Tree, with the inhabiting Spirit, quite an older fellow, sitting next to it, his back against the trunk. He handed me a Staff made of wood from the same Tree. At the base of the root system was a small, blue Opening, our Tunnel to the Lower World. Crosses and I went down the Tunnel, which started out as red with bulbous projections, but soon smoothed out and went through several other primary colors, ending in purple as we emerged. We landed in the area I usually go to find Power Animals, by a River with the Forest on my left and an open bay on my right. But shortly after we got there, things went pitch black. My Staff emitted lots of Light, though, and we headed toward the Forest to my right. We could see glowing eyes all over the place. As we went into the Forest, I found Caves up in the Trees! Soon a Bear Cub came up to us. At first I thought it might be the PA, but it soon snarled at me. I allowed it to bite into my Staff, and Bear cub quickly turned into White Fox (Foxes can camouflage themselves by changing fur color, so this tells me this particular Fox likes to be in snow-bound areas). The Fox was very friendly, allowing me to pat its head, and it licked my hand. I had a feeling this was the friend’s PA, but White Fox then took off into the distance. I soon saw it walk along a ridge well off to my front-left, then disappear. Within seconds, though, Fox came barreling between my legs, being chased by two large and voracious Wolves. I used my Staff to freeze them in place. White Fox then circled a nearby Tree and turned into a Spirit Man. He spoke to me. He said that the friend should live in a snowy area..a ski lodge, being an owner, a ski instructor, or a ranger. He also should buy himself a Fox Paw, or at least a silver Fox Charm to wear on a neck lace. This will greatly enhance his Power Animal presence. He told me the symbolism of the Bear turning into Fox meant that it was time for the friend to come out of hibernation and become the real him. He also said that the Wolf chase meant that Wolf Clan People (usually Pisces) would present the greatest challenges to him in his life, but he will beat them with Fox Cleverness, Camouflage..and a little help from his Spirit Protectors. He then told me to teach him of Fox Medicine. He then returned to White Fox form and took off into the Sky. As he ran, he left millions of sparkler-like sparks falling through the air. I thought to myself, man, this PA has a LOT of energy. This is very good for my son's friend. Crosses and I then returned up the Tunnel. We gave the Staff back to the Tree Spirit, who told me I could use it any time I wanted. I thanked him and Crosses, and left the Lake area and returned to the room. My feeling is that the friend should become that “snow animal”..or perhaps live by a lake.. It seems either would be appropriate, with the snow area the one preferred by his PA.

1/28: My son confirmed a day or so after this Journey that his friend was indeed in the process of "trying to come out of hibernation", and wanted very much to discuss this furhter with me. Tonight, we talked, and he let on that his favorite animal when young was...the Artic Fox. Amazing stuff, and the Helpers always tell the truth. He asked me to Journey for an Uncle of his that has just been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Once the two-week quiet time ends on Feb 7, I will certainly do that for him..
